This course is designed to take the first step in drawing for beginner illustrators and give freedom to practicing artists.

Our goal is to teach you how to confidently and effectively use drawing to express your ideas.

During the course, we will make 10-15 minute sketches of objects that surround us: food, plants, people, streets, buildings. While working on different sketches, we will gradually get acquainted with basic concepts in drawing, such as composition, perspective, volume, and working with color.

By the end of the course, you will be able to draw quick sketches of various objects with confidence and expressiveness. You will learn the basic principles of drawing and techniques that will help you in your further creative development.

Program

LESSONS 1-3. GETTING STARTED
We will lay the foundation for creating bright watercolor sketches: we will get acquainted with the materials, practice mixing and layering colors from the watercolor palette. In this section, you will also have the opportunity to practice creating 10-second sketches of objects around you. In my case, these are exquisite perfumes, popular Air Raids, a water glass that will be useful throughout the course, and much more.
